This green knit vest from Amazon is steal. It comes in 6 colors and is on sale for $20 right now. (Prices change all the time on Amazon so don’t hold me to it!) It’s very lightweight so I definitely see this being worn in the summer as well. I chose to add a white tank underneath for warmth but it can be easily worn with a nude bra in warmer temps.
It was a no brainer to pair the vest with my white jeans. The contrast is striking and perfect for spring. Adding the colorful snake print bag (a wonderful gift from a friend) and shiny gold hoops polishes the look off.

Be Spring Chic with Colorful Accessories
Well I found the most colorful accessory ever – our bird Alan! My sons were both in town this past week for spring break and my oldest brought his bird. Alan is a green cheeked conure and his colorful feathers really make my vest pop. It was so good to have them home but now it’s back to reality.
My oldest son Evan is having his senior recital this weekend so my mom and I will be heading down to Indiana University for it. He will be graduating in May and then will be heading to Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia to get a masters in conducting. He received a full ride and a stipend. We are over the moon excited for his new journey. I am one proud mama!
My youngest Austin is having an amazing experience at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. My sister and I will be heading down to see him soon for Mom’s weekend. We both graduated there so it will be interesting to visit and reminisce at all the old haunts.
