Dress in the color of the year Mocha Mousse with the Blonde Squad. I am happy to report that we are finally back with another blog hop. Mocha Mousse was named color of the year for 2025 so we thought we would show how we each would style this beautiful neutral shade.
Dressing Up Mocha Mousse with a Printed Maxi Dress
I found this Mocha Mousse jacket at Nordstrom Rack. Getting a jacket in this shade is perfect for layering in any season. I chose to layer mine over this colorful summer printed maxi dress. I love the contrast of the bold print with this muted shade. Initially I planned to wear this jacket with jeans but as you can see, it works nicely with dresses too. We are in the season where it’s too chilly to wear summer maxi dresses alone so adding this jacket is a great option.
Keeping it Casual in Mocha Mousse
Again I am embracing the contrast of a print with this muted shade. This tank has been in my closet for years and it’s been a while since I’ve worn it. The jacket and jeans both have shades similar in the print so I think it’s a match made in heaven!
More Cosy Island Goodness
I am doing another collaboration on Insta with Cosy Island this upcoming week and I’m still obsessed with the comfort of their shoes. I received two more pairs that I’m wearing in these looks above – the Minimalist Weave Pointed Toe Heeled Slingback in hot pink and the Commute Wild Wedge Square Toe Pumps. Both are so chic and extremely comfortable. The hot pink shade of the slingbacks is the perfect way to add a pop of color to a look and the leopard print heel of the wedges are so cool.
