Today I’m enjoying the summer sunshine in a linen midi tank dress. Finally I can wear this dress outside! It’s been unseasonably cool for the last month of so and I’ve been jonesing to wear it. I did a collaboration with Uncharted stores last month and received a gift card which I then purchased this dress and a pair of jeans. This peach dress goes perfectly with my citrus collection of flowers that I shared last week.

I love how classic and simple this sundress is. The peach shade is what makes the statement. I believe this dress would look great on anyone because it hugs the torso and gives whoever wears it a small waist. The straps are adjustable which a big plus. The best part of this easy breezy look is that the dress has pockets!

I chose to wear my favorite Aetrex sandals to give me some height but the dress looks great with almost any shoes – flip flops, sneakers, flats, you name it! This affordable dress is only $46 and comes in an olive color as well. And yes, it’s made of linen which is not favorite fabric because of wrinkling. This one doesn’t wrinkle very much which makes me a happy camper.

Life Lately

Did you wonder if I gave up on flute and art journaling? I have not. Art journaling has taken a back seat for now because I’m working two part-time jobs so there is less time. My flute playing on the other hand has ramped up because I’m preparing for a big competition. I’m in the midst of recording myself on two pieces that are required for the first round. I hope to share them here soon so you can see what I’ve been working on. I would love some prayers that the recordings go smoothly and I don’t focus on perfection but the love of music.
