Step up Your Spring Style with a Denim Jacket and Printed Joggers by Powder Beauty.

It’s time to step up your spring style with a denim jacket and printed joggers. Here is another outfit where I combined thrifting with some items in my closet. I’ve had this Gap denim jacket for years and don’t wear it very much. I have no idea why because denim jackets are so classic. The joggers are another amazing thrifting find. What makes them so awesome is that they only cost $5 and are from Anthropologie. Score!

Casual Spring Style

I think what attracted me to these joggers when I was out thrifting was the black and white print. You can never go wrong with this classic color palette. The red stripes on the sides add a fun pop of color. I chose to add my long sleeve bodysuit underneath so there would be no issued of bunching up when tucking something in. Bodysuit are life savers! My denim jacket is what polishes off the look. If you are ever find a Gap denim jacket while thrifting, get it. It will never go out of style.

Another element of this look that adds some spark is my new leopard crossbody bag from Quince. My husband Michael surprised me with this fun gift. He knows me so well when it comes to leopard. I been using this bag nonstop because it’s so easy to throw on and go. I love the contrasts of the black leather trim and calf hair printed leopard.

My Mini Menopause Art Journal

For the past couple of months I have been working on a very special journal called my mini menopause journal. I’ve spoken about my struggle with “the change” several times here. Creating is this journal helped me work through some of the emotions that I was feeling and still feel during this tumultuous time. I’ve decided to submit my work to Art Journaling Magazine. Regardless if they publish it, I just want to share with other women that they aren’t alone in the struggle. Below is a quick video of what I created in this journal.

As far as how it’s been going, I’ve been on a special treatment plan prescribed by my naturopath. Since I’m estrogen dominant, I am using a progesterone cream and taking supplements that help balance my estrogen and progesterone hormones. I am starting to feel better. No hot flashes mom! 🙂 The mood swings are still there but not as strong as before. Keep me in your prayers.

Have a fantastic week friends! XO
