My No Makeup Makeup Look and Some Spring Style Inspiration by Powder Beauty.

Today I’m sharing my no makeup makeup look and some spring style inspiration. It’s been really cold, snowy, and rainy so coming up with a new look for today was low on my list. So why not share some favorite beauty products and some fave spring looks? It was fun to take a look back and find some outfits that still make my heart soar.

My No Makeup Makeup Look

Ever since the pandemic hit, I have worn less makeup. I wasn’t going anywhere so why bother? I don’t mind going without makeup in public but I like to sometimes to put a little more effort in my appearance. Plus makeup does add a layer of protection to your skin if you add an SPF. I recently was sent some items from Jones Road (created by makeup artist Bobbi Brown) to try. I was pleasantly surprised with the glow of my skin after using their Miracle Balm.

Miracle Balm is the secret of no-makeup makeup: a wash of soft-focus moisture to perfect and enhance skin. You can use it on it’s own which I’m doing here or you can use it over your foundation. I am wearing their Flushed Shade but they also sent their Dusty Rose shade with a wonderful soft brush to apply.

Now this isn’t the only product in my no makeup look. I have a few other products that enhance my skin.

YSL Touche Eclat All-Over Brightening Pen #2 – Dabbed under my eyes, on the sides of my nose, and on my chin. I have been using this brightener for over 12 years!

Grande Cosmetics GrandeMASCARA Waterproof Conditioning Peptide Mascara – If I could only wear one makeup product, it would be mascara!

Grande Cosmetics GrandeBROW 2-in-1 Tinted Brow Gel + Brow Enhancing Serum – If I could only use two makeup products, this would be the second. The eyes have it!

City Beauty City Lips Plumping Lip Gloss in Tokyo Kiss – Perfect way to polish off your natural look!

There is not a huge difference from the before after but my eyes and brows are more defined and my skin has a nice glow and a much more even tone. Thoughts?

Spring Style Inspiration

Here are looks from past blog posts that can easily work for this present spring season. Puff sleeves are still on trend and you can’t go wrong with a pair of white jeans. Wrap dresses are always flattering and finding a pale peach double-breasted blazer in Pantone’s color of the moment – peach fuzz – will give you wardrobe a fresh update. And my husband’s favorite piece of clothing (a yellow sun dress) must be a considered. 🙂
