Keep it Casual Chic with this Puff-Sleeve Heart Sweater - Powder Beauty

I’m keeping it casual chic with this puff sleeve heart sweater. I stopped into J. Crew Factory and fell in love when I saw it hanging on a rack. The best part is that it’s a very light knit so I won’t be super uncomfortable when I get a hot flash. Lol! For sure this is the most perfect sweater for Valentine’s Day.

Puff Sleeve Heart Sweater and Wide Leg Cropped Jeans

I chose to pair this adorable sweater with my cropped wide leg jeans. The jeans are extremely thin so the boots add necessary warmth. I decided to go matchy-matchy with the jeans and Teddy Blake bag. Both pieces take the style of this sweater up a notch. The outfit is a nice mix of classic, feminine, and girly styles in my opinion.

Puff Sleeve Heart Sweater and Denim Pencil Skirt

Now if you live in a warmer climate (I’m in Chicago) you can definitely do this look instead with the bare legs. I could possibly make this a reality because it’s almost 50 while I’m writing this post. The denim skirt balances nicely with the puff sleeves. And I do adore the classic stripes next to the denim skirt. I am heading to Florida at the end of the month so this outfit might come with me.

Menopausal Madness

I’m not going to go into this too much but I’ve been struggling big time with menopause symptoms. Big surprise right with all my mentions of hot flashes? It’s not just the hot flashes but the mood swings as well. One day I will do a post on my experience but still trying to figure it out at this point. I’ve gone from primary doctor to my gynecologist and then back to my primary. So frustrating! I will be meeting with a naturopath this week that is also a licensed doctor. Asking for prayers that I find some answers and relief.

I’ve been posting less on Instagram a lot because of this. I just don’t have the bandwidth right now to deal. I have been posting more on my art journal handle because that just makes me happy and there’s no pressure. 🙂

Have a fantastic week friends! XO
