How to Stay Stylishly Cool During A Hot Flash with Light Layers by Powder Beauty.

Today I’m sharing how to stay stylishly cool during a hot flash with light layers. It’s the middle of winter and I can’t ever wear any my sweaters because I get so many hot flashes. It makes me so sad because I have so many that I would love to wear. I’ve resorted to scouring my closet to find items that won’t heat me up too much. This look is what I came up with for this week.

Long Snakeskin Cardigan with Flared Jeans

Pairing this long snakeskin cardigan with a bodysuit and flared jeans.

Every single piece in this look is lightweight which is key for me right now. The cardigan was a gift from my mom a couple of years ago. I decided to pair it with my Spanx long sleeve bodysuit and these Chicwish flared jeans. To add extra polish, I added my Gucci belt and gold booties. This look has edgy vibes that I adore so much. Any suggestions on tops that fit the bill for my hot flashes right now?

Bits of Hope

Even though I’m struggling with symptoms of menopause, there are bits of hope. I received a wonderful package from Laura Geller celebrating 20 years of her amazing Baked Balance-n-Brighten Foundation. It came with a white chocolate dome that you crack which revealed more chocolate and a gift card. So sweet! Click this link here to try this foundation if you haven’t yet. It’s so good!

Art journaling has also brought me joy during this difficult time. I thought I would share some of what I created this past week. The dark blue spread was featured on a weekly email for Get Messy which is a site for over a thousand artists. I recently joined this group in the beginning of the year. What a honor!

Have a week full of love this Valentine’s Day week! XO
