Sharing how to achieve cool Christmas style with a blazer and dark jeans. My family and I stay home for most of the day on Christmas. (Except for mass in the morning. I do get dressed up for that.) Since the feeling is casual and relaxed, I like to wear something that goes with that vibe. We might be meeting up with friends for a cocktail later in the evening which is why I will wear an outfit like this. The flared jeans keep it casual but the double-breasted blazer and festive blouse take the style of them up a notch.

My New Flared Jeans from Spanx
I am in heaven when I wear these flared jeans. They are super comfortable and flattering. I decided to go for these jeans during the Black Friday weekend because Spanx was having a sale. I originally went with an XS petite but it was a little too tight. I exchanged them for the S petite and it’s a perfect fit.
If you are thinking of adding flare jeans to your wardrobe, I highly recommend purchasing them from Spanx. They are pricey but the quality is fabulous and the fit is second to none.
I chose to add this beautiful printed blouse from Zara to this classic mix of a blazer and jeans. The green print with pops of pink and blue is perfect for the holiday season. Adding my fun gold booties was icing on the cake.

Art Journal Advent
Every Advent season I make sure to work in my art journal every morning. It calms and grounds me and gives me time with the man upstairs. Besides doing the prompts for Art Journal Advent, I also have been taking part in Care December. I thought I would share some of my favorite pages from both.

On Christmas Day, my look is more casual…usually jeans and a nice top…similar to your look. I love the idea of your Advent Art. I can see how it can keep you grounded and connected to God.
